Type of Work
A multidisciplinary background means being trained and having worked in a variety of geological contexts, ages, scales, depths, industries and roles. Scientifically, this has been for me in:
-
Past and present volcanism, earthquakes and geothermal activity.
-
Past and present sedimentary processes (carbonate and clastic).
-
Continental and oceanic crust.
-
Extensional (but also compressional and foreland).
-
At plate boundaries and intra-plate.
-
From air, ground (surface) and sub-surface.
-
From regional to local (reservoir).
-
In Industry (hydrocarbon; geothermal; hydro; seismic risks) and Academia.
The selected material form surface and sub-surface here is a snapshot of the type of scientific work that I did in research and industrial projects.
